IsoBuster is a utility for CD and DVD data recovery. [2][3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] All CD and DVD formats are supported, including HD DVD and Blu-ray. It has the ability to access "deleted" data on multi-session CD-R and DVD-R discs, and allows users to access disc "images" in many formats (including ISO, BIN and NRG) and to extract files in the same way that they would from a ZIP archive. IsoBuster is also well known and often used by law enforcement and data forensics experts. [10] [11] [12] [13] It is produced by Smart Projects (founded at 1995 by Peter Van Hove) in Belgium. A free version is available for download on their website, and extra functionality may be unlocked through purchasing a license key.
