ISOBuster 2.3 - Data recovery software from phisical CD and DVD discs that have been scratched or the recording was not correctly finished, to recover lost files.
It is a recovery tool specialized on restoring data from bad CD or DVD discs, supporting all files formats and most of the disc file systems, on CD or DVD.
With the bad disc inserted in the drive, IsoBuster displays all the readable tracks and sessions, and whatever is on the disc, the same way the Windows Explorer shows the folders, displaying even the files that are not recognized by the Operating System or that are are hidden. Then you can explore every one and select wich ones you would like to recover and the application starts its job.
You can find lost or missing files and folders. In case of very damaged discs (or poorly written) the application uses different ways (algorithms) for retrying, forcing the drive unit to get the data in alternative modes.
If the support disc is not scratched but the information is a mess, the program can copy all of it to a hard disc section and the recover process takes much less time. The application looks for "matching" ends in the information to recover the complete file. It also searches for nameless files.
It can perform a surface scan and 'mark' the sectors or tracks with problems (either they have data on them or not). The program lists all the found errors and bad sectors addresses.
The program uses a "temporary" folder to run files from the drive or to drag-and-drop files, away from the Windows control, so all the files are always perfectly located.
With a simple click you can open or close any drive unit. |
